We are called “Reformed” because we hold to the historic doctrines of the protestant Reformation, emphasizing the sovereignty of God and authority of his Word over all of faith and life.  

We are called “Presbyterian” because our church is led by elected elders.  Our denomination’s churches are also geographically organized into “presbyteries” in which elders co-labour together across Canada.
